Dr. ‘Ukor Princess Mokolo recently won the prestigious Vigor Awards the signature award by Vigor Awards International as International Humanitarian & Volunteer Hero of 2018. The prestigious award was presented at a reception recently held in Toronto Canada with several levels of government and international dignitaries, humanitarians and community leaders in attendance.She is the founder and CEO of LUCINMA Women Development Center, the vocational skills and technology literacy division of Lucinma International Charities. Lucinma was established in 2004 with a focus on providing vocational education, entrepreneurship development opportunities and technology literacy as a vehicle of poverty and unemployment reduction, and improving the socio-economic status of women, the unemployed and under-employed in the communities the organization serves.

Dr. Mokolo is driven by a deep passion for human development and has dedicated her life to human capacity development projects like her pet project at Lucinma. She has served as CEO of Prompt Enterprises, a commercial printing & publishing company since 1990.

Dr. Mokolo is an author, researcher and business consultant. She is also a business faculty at the Archie Dunham Business School of Houston Baptist University (HBU)in addition to serving as a lead business coach at the HBU McNair Center for Entrepreneurship and Free Enterprise. She also teaches qualitative research,business, strategic management, entrepreneurship,education leadership,curriculum& instruction and emerging technologies at a number of other  universities.

She serves on the advisory board of two universities, the advisory board of a nonprofit focused on financial education and a number of other nonprofit organizations. She actively serves the Houston community as a consultant to nonprofit organizations and as a certified counselor/mentor to existing and aspiring small business owners through SCORE/SBA.

Dr. Mokolo, is a lifelong learner and holds a B.Sc. in computer science from University of Benin,a masters in education with specialization in instructional technology from Houston Baptist University, an MBA from American Intercontinental University Houston (she was recently honored with the distinguished alumni award by AIU Houston). She also holds an earned doctorate in business from Argosy University Atlanta, she holds a graduate certificate in HR management from Cornell University and a coaching fundamentals certificate from University of Houston. She is an alumna of Duke University’s nonprofit management program and Rice University’s HR management program. Her professional recognition include Cornell University’s Human Resource Director’s certification, the Association for Talent Development recognition as a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), recognition by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) as both a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR). In addition to the above, Dr. Mokolo is also recognized by the Society for Human Resource Management as a SHRM Senior Certified HR Professional (SHRM-SCP).

Her rich professional background is further supported by a Texas State teaching certification as a business educator (6-12),, a graduate certificate in training and a Certified Training Professional designation from Texas A&M University, as well as certificates in several learning and human performance improvement competency areas from the Association for Talent Development (formerly ASTD). She has also completed several fundraising courses organized by the Center for Nonprofit Leadership, Rice University.

Dr. Mokolo describes herself as a consultant’s consultant,’ with multifaceted experience as an entrepreneur, journalist, author, business consultant, marketing executive, trainer, motivational speaker, coach and mother of four sons; she brings her versatility to bear in her successful pursuit of her passion for improving the socio-economic status of different community members through coaching, developing women and youths, improving computer literacy in low “Computeracy” communities, improving health and wellness education and her commitment to helping small business owners and nonprofit organizations with strategy analysis and capacity development.

She loves helping people, speaking at conferences,mentoring individuals and groups, strategy analysis, research, and motivational speaking, she also loves teaching business and technology applications classes to professionals and business owners. She is very passionate about working with women, youths, the unemployed and contributing to capacity development projects. She loves planning and hosting events and she is usually the life of any event. She loves volunteering, travelling, dancing, taking ‘selfies’, modeling, shopping, singing, chatting on the phone and touching lives. Dr. Mokolo’s dream is to own her own talk show and an online university some day.

She is the proud mother of four adorable sons Tobe(24), Ebube (22), Chekube (19+),  Nodibe Prince (14+) and everyday she prays for God to bless them and make them men for God and others.

She loves the Lord dearly and refers to Him as the lover of her soul and the lifter of her head.
