Ene Oloja is a Director, a Producer, a Writer, an Author, a house-hold name and renowned actress in Nigeria who has been a pioneer of many works on stage, television, and film.

Her work as an acclaimed actress spanned decades, starting from the age of five, culminating in numerous productions in Nigeria and the US. She has been honored with several national and international awards.

Among her most famous credits are “Cock Crow At Dawn”, “Behind the Clouds”, “Lynx, “The Brave One” alongside Oscar-winning actress Jodi Foster, “Zero Hour”, and many more.

Fondly referred to as THE DOYEN by her peers, she catapulted the entertainment industry in Nigeria to serious professional heights, pioneered Nollywood, and became the role model and the beacon of courage to Nigerian artistes. She represented Nigeria throughout the world in various international festivals of the Arts, Television and Theatre including the 23rd Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

She has been vocal on a variety of issues affecting women in Nigeria and Africa as a whole, on radio, on television and in numerous political forums, encouraging the active inclusion of women in all spheres of life in the African polity, particularly in the affairs of State.

Ene Oloja has a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and a Master’s Degree in International Relations and Strategic Studies from the University of Jos, Nigeria.
